General Rental and Vehicle Delivery Terms

At Ankarafly Rent A Car, it is mandatory to sign a Vehicle Rental Agreement and a Vehicle Delivery Form for the legal validity of your rental transaction. These documents include details such as the rental fee, duration, fuel level, and any damages, if applicable.

Your Responsibilities

• You must operate the vehicle in compliance with Highway Traffic Law No. 2918 and all other applicable regulations.
• You may not use the vehicle for racing, speed testing, training, or on inappropriate terrains such as off-road areas.
• You are responsible for keeping the vehicle locked, using the proper fuel, and conducting basic maintenance checks.
• All traffic fines, OGS/HGS toll charges, and legal responsibilities are your obligation.
• You are not permitted to transfer, sublet, or sell the vehicle.
• Only drivers listed in the rental agreement are allowed to drive the vehicle.
• Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs is strictly prohibited.

Fees

• You are responsible for the rental fee, one-way fees, and any additional service charges.
• If the vehicle is returned with less fuel, the fuel cost plus a 25% service charge will apply.
• Toll fees, penalties, towing costs, etc. are fully charged to the renter.
• Damages not covered by insurance and loss-of-use charges will be collected from the renter.
• A 5% late payment interest will be applied in case of delays. VAT not included.

Insurance and Exemptions

Rental vehicles are covered by traffic insurance against accidents, theft, and third-party damages. For insurance coverage to remain valid:

• The vehicle must only be driven by the person(s) listed in the rental agreement.
• The driver must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
• Accidents must be reported to law enforcement immediately.
• All required reports and forms must be completed accurately.

The renter is responsible for all damages exceeding the insurance limits.

Privacy

Your personal information will not be shared with third parties for commercial purposes. This data is only used for service delivery, payment processing, security, and legal procedures. In case of a violation of the rental agreement, relevant records may be kept and shared with TOKKDER, Police Departments, Courts, or other legal authorities.

Contract Termination

If the rental fee is not paid on time, the agreement will be terminated without notice, and the vehicle must be returned immediately. Any damages arising from delays will be charged to you.

Reservation Cancellations

• Cancellations made at least 6 hours before the vehicle pickup time are free of charge.
• For cancellations made within 6 hours, one day's rental fee will not be refunded.
• During high-demand periods (June 15 – September 15 and public holidays), the free cancellation window is 24 hours.
• Our company reserves the right to cancel any reservation with at least 12 hours’ notice.
